Pferdehof zum Giggerer in Kochel am See

We stayed in the Rabenkopf apartment. Basic cleanliness was given but that was it. You should keep in mind that you have to go through the cafe with all your clothes and if it is full, this is very uncomfortable and a private parking space is not guaranteed. The apartment itself is shabby. Sofa bed totally dirty, seating area in the kitchen for 6 people already very small and cramped. There are only a few dishes, just two pots and no coasters, etc. The beds creak without end, especially with children who go to sleep at different times, very annoying. Bathrooms ok but the shower heads are slowly giving up their ghost. The owner should spend 1-2 nights there himself and ask himself whether you still feel comfortable in the apartment and maybe renovate it. Horse farm is far too far away and especially with children does not give the feeling of a farm holiday. Unfortunately, this is not sent to the big bell.

Not to be recommended, sausage salad was in a watery atmosphere and the sausage slices 1mm so thin that the plate is reflected in it.

Were there to make a snack after a long hike and ate sausage salad and a Swiss sausage salad for the money a cheek. You could say it was a kid's serving.

Today I returned to the cafe after a mountain tour. Enjoy a good coffee, a wonderful cake in the beautiful garden, what more do you need? Have a look, it's worth it

Good breakfast, very nice staff, nice atmosphere, but the price is rather marginal 🤔. Still ... recommended 👍🏻!

We went on a two-hour ride with Konrad from the Giggerer horse farm and can highly recommend it. The horses were super good and ridden well and you can tell that a lot of importance is attached to the welfare of the animals. The ride through the beautiful nature was great and we would love to come back anytime.

Were at the Lainbach waterfall today and came back to the Cafe Giggerer. We were totally thrilled. Everything designed with attention to detail (we sat in the beautiful outdoor area), about the very nice and caring owners and employees, the delicious cake and coffee. Such a thing is unfortunately very rare. Thanks again :)

be honest: here is not a horse farm people! (unless you walk 10 minutes through the village and train station, directly behind is a pretty miserable horse farm) - but here is no quiet farm feeling and that you should know in the foreground. Anyone looking for peace here (right next to the fire department) is definitely out of place. The showers are much too small, the beds too hard and the price too high. The only plus would be the nice cafe downstairs but if it's up is another question.
